Comfortable & Well Equipped
A lovely holiday home, well equipped, comfortable and well positioned to explore the Nevis Mountain range & Gondola, Loch Garry, Loch Ness with its beautiful scenery, Inverness & Fort Augutus. The owner was very helpful and we will visit again.
The highlights of our holiday at Glen Albyn Lodge, Invergarry were hiking up Ben Nevis, a rib boat on Loch cable car in the Nevis range and a trip to Farm Ness to feed highland cows. Glen Albyn Lodge is a really great place with lots of wildlife.
Family Gathering
This was a lovely, comfortable house. We have really enjoyed our stay here. Our highlight was seeing the Pine Martin! Boat trip on Loch Ness was great and we saw 2 eagles. Lots of lovely walks. Pool room was a highlights for the girls.

From start to finish our stay at Glen Albyn Lodge was a first class experience. Graham was super helpful and went out of his way to make sure our stay was flawless, going above and beyond what we all expected.
The lodge was warm, welcoming and had everything we needed for our stay.
The woods behind the house provided many hours of adventure for us all and eventually leads on to a foot path that takes you all the way over to the loch walks and beyond.
Along with five others I spent a comfortable and pleasant week here. The house is well placed for visits both local, like Fort Augustus and Loch Ness, Fort William and Glen Nevis as well as further afield, like Mallaig and Camistarrach Sands. The local community centre is a super local spot for great coffee, cake or bacon baps! And Graham was a very helpful host. The house was beautifully designed to ensure a sociable space and great facilities. Also securely fenced with a great outdoor space for the dogs.
Glen Albyn Lodge was perfect for our family get together. The house was very clean with fantastic facilities. The en-suite large bedrooms and the linked bedroom for the little one were ideal for our family of seven, plus a dog. Most nights we’d make use of the pool table in the games room before moving into the large lounge for further family games, which comfortably accommodated us all. It’s in easy reach of most of the places we intended to visit – Loch Ness, Fort William, Glen Finnan, Dalwhinnie Distillery, plus lovely local walks around glengarry forest.
We have had a wonderful stay in a truly beautiful house. We watched a Pine Martin in the garden as well as visited Glen Etive, Glen Coe and Elgot on Skye as well as Glenfinnan viaduct and the Jacobite train.
Comfortable house, well-equipped. Loved the cukcoo clock .. the only wild life we saw! Visited Laggan Locks and saw views from Invergarry.
Beautiful home, the kids loved the game room (and the adults). We have loved our family holiday here. What we saw & did: Loch Ness Cruise, Glengarry Forest, Highland Wildlife Park, Invergarry Hotel (lovely food), lots of lovely walks and really amazing views.
Wonderful house and great location. Amazing area to explore. Tastefully renovated and decorated with touch of Scottish charm.
Really enjoyed the house and the forest behind it. Excellent mountains to climb. Good walk from house round loch and back. Neptunes Staircase – really friendy friendly hotel for lunch.
Lovely walks in Glen Nevis and Glen Roy. Emily’s Byre in Invergarry is great for Indian supper.

The accommodation was first class. What a superb house with lots of seating options, lovely selection of bedrooms and lots of outside space. Ideally placed for exploring the area we had an adventure everyday. The owner was lovely and helpful with great suggestions of places to visit, and even though it rained everyday, sitting in the conservatory felt like being outside with its lovely garden view. We had a fabulous holiday.
Accommodation was ideal for our family get together. Well equipped with everything we needed. Have to drive quite a bit to get anywhere but the roads are so quiet and views so stunning it wasn’t really a problem.

House was beautiful, Kitchen was well stocked for a large group, Beds were super comfy and the pillows!! I want to know where to buy them! Plenty of room inside and out for relaxing, or a game of pool. Graham our host was amazing, caring and helpful , thank you Graham. Overall the experience was 10 out of 10.
